After a few weeks she finds her boyfriend with another girl and due to her anger she tells 'the guy' on 'bobspace' that she wants the boy dead. He takes her word and kills him. Questionnaire Results

Clearly our target audience will be female. This means we will have to incorporate elements that will appeal to the female nature for example sterotypical female activities and feature female actors. This lets our target audience relate to the characters.

From our results, you can see that the majority of the target market will have to be between the ages of 15-18 years. This will mean we have to appeal to this younger target audience who are most likely going to be in education as students in secondary school, college or in their first year of University. This gives us a good place for a location as it will be a more relatable experience for our target audience.

As most of our results are of white heritage, we will have to use white actors, especially for our main characters in our thriller to make sure our audience relate to the characters. If we wanted to use other ethnicities we could also use the second largest results which are of mixed and black heritage for other characters.

Rock is the largest result we got so we will incorporate elements of rock in our thriller. This genre is easier to include because it can create an emotive sound that can appeal to our female audience and a tense atmosphere because of the increased beat the music can include.

The biggest result was comedy. However, as we are doing a thriller opening we will have to include thriller conventions but also have elements of humour in it, so our psychographic will like it and relate to it more. This can be done through jokes and sarcasm but we will have to do more research on comdey thrillers in order to do this well.

The preferred character type results were tied between the villain and hero. This suggests we will have to use the more traditional roles that are used in more mainstream films of featuring the hero, villain and victim. However, this opens up an aspect that we can explore more. By maybe confusing the classic conventions of a hero and villain slightly in the opening we will create, it will make the opening more a psychological thriller opposed to just a thriller.

Social networking sites, texting and television were all tied to be the most popular results we got. We can then choose which one we want to incorporate in our opening or choose to incorporate all of them. However, this does outline how big a part the use of conversing with people through technology is to the modern day teenager, and so if we reference to these hobbies, our audience will be able to relate it more.
